The Stratford Library is accessible to people with a variety of physical disabilities.
The library has wheelchair-accessible ramps at both the Main Street entrance and the rear entrance. Wheelchair-accessible vans may park in the designated space which adjoins the walkway on the Main Street side of the library.
All public areas of the Library are wheelchair-accessible except for the restrooms on the Main Floor. The public restroom on the Lower Level is accessible.

Print magnification for patrons with a visual disability
We have an Optelek Spectrum magnifier that illuminates and magnifies any book or paper: a book, a checkbook, a map, a photograph, etc. The level of magnification can be as great as twenty times. Located in the Career Center on the Main Level.
Library materials for patrons with visual disabilities
The library offers fiction and non-fiction materials in several formats: large print books, books on CD and Playaways. If you would like to receive home delivery of recorded and Braille material from the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, call 203.385.4164 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for application information.
Computer services for patrons with a visual and/or motor impairment
All public workstations have Windows XP accessibility technology. An Internet connection, Microsoft Office programs, Powerpoint, and all library databases are also available on these PCs.
